Download the latest firmware from the Philips support website
If firmware is not available for download, this means that your set is already installed with the latest firmware.
Extract the files by unzipping the zipped file.
Write the extracted files onto a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc.
Power up the set and insert the prepared Upgrade CDR.
The set will automatically start upgrading.
Set’s FTD will display ERASE, after which the tray door will open. Remove the Disc from the set but DO NOT close the glass door.
FTD will show WRITE -> UPG END in about 4-5 minutes time.
The glass door will automatically close and the set will go to standby and wake up automatically in disc mode. Software upgrading is completed.
Please do not interrupt the upgrading process by powering off the set
When the Glass door is fully opened, FTD will be blocked, but the set is still upgrading the SW and the door will close automatically after the upgrade ends
