I got a Phillips toaster as a gift. It started giving problem from 2nd month. After 6-7 months it became unusable. As it was received as a gift I didn't have any bill or warranty card. So I have purchase a new one. Astonishingly the new one one working fine for 3 years. No issue with it.

She completely adores it. She uses it daily.
As the name says it all, I chose "Philips" because its a brand you can always trust on, Philips product always last very long.

I got this product as a gift from company as a diwali gift. On first day of use the lock of mechanism refuses to click after putting the bread in compartment. I think philips should maintain its quality rather going dirt cheap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PG09 NICE GIFTING OPTION
Sleek and well polished design of this product is bound to attract you when you go to shop for a pop up toaster. Unlike the other metallic ones, this plastic bodied device with a charming white colour does the initial marketing of the product by attracting customers with its look. That is why I feel it is a nice option to gift someone.
When you move on from the looks and actually get the product home, its very easy and convenient to use. So full score on the looks and the ease. But here ends the pros for this.
The grills are approx 15 cms or may be more in width and gives an impression that it can toast 4 slice at a time but its difficult to even fit one properly on a side if you using anything apart from your normal bread. We used to have a homemade bread which was little longer than the normal breads so it always used to be less toasted from the top. Then when you try to pop them up, it gets stucked in there and the upper part which is less toasted breaks up in the process of yours trying to take the bread out.
Moving on to their time controls, even the lowest option of a minute burns your toast at times. So we had to manually stop it after every 15 secs and check if its well toasted, this defeats the whole purpose of buying a toaster as you end up spending more time than saving it.
The bun holder on the above is another wastage and of no utility.
Overall, I still fell that its nice to gift it to someone given the price and the looks, but for your own use, its better to move on to the old tried and tested iron toasters.

Good product; easy to use and has functionality which you will get after combining few toasters together. The heating element is good and lasts for a long time.

The product quality is excellent. With 2 years of usage, the toaster has performed perfectly. The thermostat is working absolutely fine. The auto eject works excellently. No toasts burnt / over heated. Uniform heating.
