My Philips GoGear player hangs during video playback

  • Ensure that the clip has been converted to suit the device using the Philips Media Convertor
  • If Philips Media Convertor is not installed in your computer, install it from the Installation CD & convert the clip before transferring to the device.
  • Try playing the source video file in your computer and check for any incosistencies or playability issues.

  • Check whether the clip is infected by Virus. If the clip is infected by Virus, delete the clip from the device and format the device completely. An infected clip can damage the file system of the device. Also check for Virus infection in your computer.
