The appliance is equipped with a safety lock. If the blender beaker or wet mill beaker has not been assembled properly onto the motor unit, the appliance does not work. Press the on/off button to make sure the appliance is switched off. Then check whether the beaker has been assembled properly.

There is too much food in the beaker. Switch off the appliance and process a smaller quantity.
You let the appliance operate too long without interruption. Do not operate the blender for more than 1 minute at a time. Do not operate the wet mill for more than 30 seconds at a time.
