There is too much pulp in my Philips juicer

Published on 2021-11-29

If there is too much pulp in your Philips juicer, find out here what you can do to solve the issue.

Fruits that are too starchy (such as bananas and avocados) are not recommended to be processed with this juicer. Doing so, could cause too much pulp in the sieve.

Some fruits can produce more pulp than expected. Examples of this are: some kind of apples (for example when they are stored for a long time and are very ripe) or carrots.

Also, large amounts of soft fruits such as grapes or watermelon can cause this problem.

If the problem is not caused by the type of fruit that was used, then the sieve might be broken.

Please, switch off the appliance and unplug it.

We recommend you to contact Philips Consumer Care and ask for a repair

If your juicer is HR1882:
Please use the coarse sieve to juice hard fruits. For other fruits, please change to the fine sieve.
