The iPod docking cradle lets you connect your iPod directly to the Streamium Wireless music center to enjoy superb sound. Simply switch the Streamium to 'Portable' mode, and then dock your iPod. Use the Streamium remote control to navigate, select and playback the music stored on your iPod. The Streamium automatically charges your iPod while it is docked.
Plug and play directly from your USB flash memory device
When you select the USB Direct mode on the Streamium, you can instantly access the music from your USB portable music player and play it back through the Streamium center or station. USB Direct lets you to playback MP3, AAC and WMA music files from a USB device, letting you enjoy your portable music at home with great sound quality.
Class 'D' digital amplifier for quality sound performance
Class ‘D’ Digital Amplifier takes an analog signal, converts it into a digital signal and then amplifies the signal digitally. The signal then enters a demodulation filter to give the final output. The amplified digital output delivers all the advantages of digital audio, including improved sound quality. In addition, Class ‘D’ Digital Amplifier has greater than 90% efficiency compared to traditional AB amplifiers. This high efficiency translates into a powerful amplifier with a small footprint.
