Yeah... I got both the features- user friendliness and great looking straight hair, together in this product! Its got: 1. TEMPERATURE CONTROL right from 130 degree (for touch ups n naturally straight hair) to 199 degree (for curly, coarse hair), which makes it one product for all! For hair that is thick with light waves, I use 160 degree for super good results, 2. ACTIVE IONS for lesser hair damage 3. EHD- even heat distribution technology, distributes the heat evenly to the plate, causing lesser damage to hair. 4.STYLE REFRESH- for a quick touch up with very less amount of heat... n be guilt-free if you are a straightener addict! 5. Surprisingly, the style stays longer. 6. It can be used for curling too... though I am yet to try this. Longer wires, LED temperature display- all make up for a great buy at a decent price (comparing it to what I used to shell out at the salon)

The Philips HP8315 is a great product, easy to use and gives amazing straight hair. It is compact in size and easy to store too. However, be careful as there is no indicator of heat levels. It heats up very quickly in 30 secs, and be sure to monitor the heat levels. But I love the feel of my hair after I use it, and it leaves the hair smooth and silky. Go for it!

i use straightner once a week and this product is not harmful for my hair. it makes my hair silky smooth and shiny and using this there is no problem of hairfall and rough and dry hair

My hair is wavy and this product was straightening it. But if the straightening is done quickly, it can not straighten hair perfectly. It could not straighten my tiny-curly hairs (they are like noodles). The plate is not pulling hair, so it's safe and feels good when i pull the plate straight down. My hair felt soft, but the best is you give coating before start using this product. I don't like the product design. But it's fine since this product is quite helpful. And I do not smell burnt on my hair after applying it.

i have been using this hair straightener since last one year and seriously its really performs well. it has a temperature control button, button locking control that allows temperature not to change during using the appliance. Since this product use titanium plates our hair is absolutely same from burning out and giving a neat finish

PHILIPS gives u, in this straightener, everything it promises n FLIPKART gives u the best deal. If you are looking for a flat iron that has all the functions you want, Procare HP8339 is for you! For people who are confused(like i was) between HP8310 n HP8315, forget dem...... HP8339 has the functions of those two n is far better. (one of my friends have HP8315, i used it, thus i know ;) n they don't even have temp. control) P.S: Its advisable that u use it at a lesser temp. I have wavy hair n 130-150 works just fine for me. Also, NEVER buy a flat iron that doesn't have the temp. control system or it will be like u just have boiling water to take a bath n no option to mix cold water........think about ur hair! so don't be dependent on other philips flat irons that don't have temp control, just thinking that its philips (most of the other philips flat irons don't have temp. control) Happy Straightening :)

The product has many Excellent features ,it has temperature control feature which is the key feature, which does not burn your hair and give the desired look. It is highly recommend to those , who are really care and are concerned about their hair health along with hair style. It"s a hair friendly straightener.
