Product is great only screen cast missing Pls give software update cause the software is old dated sep 2016 android interface bad

I have been a fan of PHILIPS, the pioneers of ambilight series ever since it was introduced in the market. Although this is the first PHILIPS product I own. I stumbled upon the bad reviews of this TV after I had placed and order for it and honestly I could not understand most people's disappointment. Most complaint about lack of DLNA and availability MHL. But its already mentioned in the specs. This being a standalone android TV, it has its own set of smart features rather than borrowing from your phone. Getting on with the review, THE TV: The TV is great. Most budget 4K TV ever. Excellent up-scaling from HD set-top box to 4K. Includes HDMI 2.0 and MHL/ARC channel as well. 3 USB ports of which 1 is USB 3.0. VGA for old PC inputs is a plus. Audio OUT: S/PDIF and AV analogue for home theatre connection SPEAKERS: Also features an AV out port for analogue external speaker connections in case you cannot use the S/PDIF. This is a must since the TV speakers ever at full volume are barely audible even in my compact room of 120sq. ft. SAMRT TV: The android is very unpolished and needs a very good internet connection to work well. Took me a while to get a descent connection. But once connection is established, the play store access is a boon. I have tried various apps like hotstar, kodi, netflix etc and most work without a glitch. YOUTUBE: The built in youtube app needs a whole section of its own. Its keyboard crashes after typing 3 letter but i downloaded the other youtube app and can access youtube and control it via phone (Smart Tube) CONS: The biggest drawback for me is the lack of audio and video adjustment controls while playing content using smart tv or playing via USB. These are available for AV and HDMI input sources only. Absolutely no brightness, color, contrast option available during USB play and playing online videos. By default the TV colors are on the cool white side, native to most LED lit TVs. That being said, there are a few problems but get around as well. So in all, its a great TV for the price and functions quite well as a TV should. SUPPORT: Good support from PHILIPS I was offered a replacement at the time of installation since the TV won't connect to WIFI but after I tweaked my WIFI router placement, it started working and cancelled the replacement request. USB: The usb can host a number of devices. The bundled smart keyboard remote is Okay and gets the job done. Even with the bundles extension cord, there are frequent connection issues. I have connected an air mouse and it works flawlessly with the TV. The USB container can play a large number of files and recognizes my 2TB HDD. I have downloaded a few 4K samples from youtube and played them via USB and it works very well.

Excellent LED television in this range. This television is very good and smart tv series 7700.

Good price within 40k, excellent sound and picture quality with HD

1. The Smart Feature is working. 2. You need to reset and erase the current setting. 3. The TV reloads the software. 4. Download apps from Playstore. The Downloaded apps works fine. 5. At this Cost is one of the best in the market. 6. I am using Netflix, YouTube and Google Chrome. 7. Use the product as a TV not as a Computer. 8. The WiFi Keyboard with Trackpad is good and does the job well.

Using it for last one month and having a good experience so far.

IT IS THE BEST PRODUCT IN BELOW 70K BRACKET AS ITS PERFORMANCE IS TREMENDOUS FROM EVERY POINT OF VIEW PICTURE QUALITY, SOUND QUALITY AS WELL. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO BUY IT.

I have always been a fan of Philips Tvs. Two of my previous TVs were Philips TVs (both CRTs). After having a Sony LCD for about 5 years I went back to Philips. I have always liked the simple menu, the extremely balanced color palette/ PQ and the sound produced by Philips TVs. Also Philips TVs have always been trouble free. Lets hope I get the same experience this time.
