UV-Quartz glass is stronger than hard glass and highly resistant to temperature extremes and vibrations, which eliminates the risk of explosion. Philips quartz-glass lamps (filament 2 650º C and glass 800º C) are able to withstand severe thermal shock. With the capability of increased pressure inside the lamp, UV-quartz glass is able to produce a more powerful light.

Good product, but didn't meet my expectations.

I bought this light because I wanted the blue-ish look of a xenon light. As the name and the product advertises, the light should be white/blue. So far I'm sure I didn't turn colourblind, but I'm only seeing a white-yellowish light. It sure is safer than the original set I got from Suzuki, since I'm more visible on the road.

It is a good light and it gives only average white light. Result are not better than I expected but I would recommend if you are looking for power and better light coverage.
