In-ear wireless headphones with mic

The sound signature is quite different from my Sennheiser momentum earphone but I didn't believe that I will get such an exceptional quality from Philips. The pack came sealed but the battery was discharged completely. It takes more than 2 hours to charge with 5V 800mA charger. I always recommend using the same charger rating for Bluetooth devices. None of my Bluetooth device died since purchased. The noise cancellation was 1/4 th of my Bose QC35 headphones but it didn't create a vacuum effect on the ears like Bose when ANC is activated. The battery backup claimed on the box is 9hrs and I did get that with ANC ON. Hi-resolution is only applicable when you use wired medium to listen songs.7Hz to 40KHz when wired Hi-res and 20Hz to 20KHz when the medium is wireless.

The quality and finish is awful. The sound panel is hopeless. The lining came off. Using an adhesive was of no help. Slowly, the buttons have stopped working. Expected a much better product from Philips.

I bought it for Rs1199 on 13 Nov 2020. I received it on 20 Nov. Date of import printed on box is August 2020. The MRP printed on the box is ₹3799. In March the layer near volume buttons began coming apart a little bit. Looked nothing serious. At most it looked like the adhesive had not been properly applied and/or the joints hadn't been properly built. Meanwhile, to be on the safe side I had initiated my contact with Philips through their website. I filled up and submitted the form. Then few days later layer started coming apart near the power button also. Then few days later that layer almost completely detached from one end. See photos. And as more days went by the problem began escalating. In May end I lost one of the 2 wing tips. It probably fell somewhere. And few days later the volume down button stopped working. And few days after that the power button stopped working. So now I can't even turn it on. I continued my communication with Philips. Contacted TPV customer service, visited local service centre, called various authorised people as instructed, contacted service manager, etc. Basically over the course of several weeks I have made several phone calls, sent several WhatsApp messages, emails, etc. Done everything possible. Amongst all the people I have been in touch with regarding this issue some people were understanding or okay while others were inconsiderate, impolite and uncooperative. I'm still waiting for parts and repair / replacement. Please don't buy this product. It is extremely fragile. For the few months (about until June) it was working good or okay. Although it never worked excellently. For this information you can visit my review of this product on Amazon.in. Since I am absolutely dissatisfied with this product therefore I'll not repeat those points here. From a layman's perspective I would like to say that its selling price should have be Rs500 only because it only lasted 6 months. After this experience I have to say that even at Rs1199 it is overpriced as far as warranty fulfillment, service quality, product quality, and everything else are concerned. The MRP printed on the box is ridiculous. At present I feel like an ordinary customer who is standing on one side of the issue vs all of the following (in one way or another) on the other side : 1. Digital Care (local service centre in my city) 2. Appario Retail 3. Amazon 4. TGV Technology 5. Minami Acoustics 6. Koninklijke Philips 7. MMD Hong Kong Holding On one side so many professional people and on the other side this one pair of headphones which still remains unrepaired or replaced. Consumer forum is the last resort. I am still waiting for final reply from Philips. If I don't receive a favorable response I will have to contact consumer helpline. What else can I do? I didn't break it. It is a substandard item which stopped functioning within a few months. When you buy a branded & original & newly launched product & that too from authorised channels - and a product which has 1 year warranty - you expect it to last at least a few years. I will definitely update this review and change the rating if Philips repairs or replaces this product. For the time being and after taking everything into consideration I rate it one star.
