This is one product of great value to young mums, esp. if they need to get back to their jobs early.. It was extremely resourceful to pump and store milk, to be stored in the refrigerator and warmed before feeding the baby while I was away. There were times when the baby just went on a strike, refusing to feed. I was advised by doc to use the pump, to avoid any soreness and also help store milk for the baby for later use. It is easy to use (apart from the initial hiccups), easy to clean. And since my baby used the Avent bottles, I never ran out of containers for storage, since the pump is compatible with all Avent bottles. In a nutshell- uncompromised nutrition for the baby!

i recently became a mother. I purchase breast pump as my child was not sucking dat much milk..i cud easily store milk wid the help of the pump as well as throe out the excess milk.it makes my breast soft,great product by philips..thanks a lot..

it is very effective and efficient to use it , my wife loved it, only thing is you must provide at least a standby bottle with it. Although any philip avent bottle is fittable to it.

This is most recommended, as it makes brest feeding such a easier job and its simple to use too.. You need microwave stealizer too....

I'm a first time mom with a 2 week old baby. I've used the Philips Manual Breast Pump 3-4 times, and I found it easy to use and painless. I can pump about 40ml in 6-8 min. The first time I used I was a bit apprehensive, but once I tried it, I was quit happy. It gives me a break from feeding at least once a day. My only issue is that I have to sterilize it each time I use it I read a few reviews online before buying it, and it works as promised.
