How do I use my Philips Sonicare AirFloss?

Our Philips Sonicare AirFloss uses compressed air to accelerate micro-droplets of water (or mouthwash) between teeth. To use our AirFloss, follow instructions below.

Using Philips Sonicare AirFloss

To use our AirFloss, follow our step by step instructions:

  1. Turn on your AirFloss by pressing the power button
  2. Place the nozzle tip between your two teeth at the gum line. Slightly close your lips over the nozzle to avoid any splashing
  3. Press the activation button to deliver 1-3 bursts of air and micro-droplets of water/mouthwash between the teeth
  4. Slide the nozzle tip along the gum line until you feel it settle between the next two teeth
  5. Continue this process for all spaces between your teeth, including the behind your back teeth
  6. Turn off your AirFloss once done

Note: Your AirFloss will automatically turn off if it has not been used for one minute.

How to use Philips Sonicare AirFloss

AirFloss burst modes

You can change the burst modes to have the desired amounts each time you press the activation button. To change the modes, press the power button continuously until you reach your desired mode. The LEDs show the selected mode:

  • Single burst: 1 LED
  • Double burst: 2 LEDs
  • Triple burst: 3 LEDs

Note: For optimal results, use the triple burst mode (default setting) from both the outside and inside of your teeth.
