HDTV with Picture Enhancer delivers exceptional picture quality and real movie-viewing experience that makes television more dynamic, truer than anything you've seen before. It features picture quality more than twice that of traditional analog broadcasts.
HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB connection from the source to the screen for the ultimate picture quality. HDMI uses HDCP copy protection. With 2 HDMI inputs on the back of the TV you can connect multiple HD sources, for instance an HD settop box, a Blu-ray player, and Game Console or Digital Camcorder.
The USB connector allows access to jpeg photos and mp3 music of most USB-sticks (USB memory-class device). Plug the USB into the slot at the side of the TV and access the content. You can now view and share your photos and music.
The Active Control intelligently adjusts the backlight, resulting in beneficial environmental & energy conservation. TV with Active Control has greater energy savings than normal TVs.
With PC input you can use your TV as a PC monitor either using a HDMI-DVI cable (for digital signals) or VGA cable (for analog signals).
Philips preset modes for Smart Sound provide you with direct access via a single key on the remote control. You can select optimized sound settings for the various sound modes.
