Philips launches Healthcare@home services in Chennai with the ICU@home

Chennai/New Delhi: Philips India Ltd, a leading health technology company, announces the expansion of its Healthcare@home services to Chennai, with the launch of ICU@home. The new service will provide intensive care unit equipment and high-quality medical care at home for patients, and has been developed in consultation with doctors and hospitals. The service offers ICU-trained nurses providing care and doctors remotely monitoring the patient.

 

Philips has expanded its homecare services beyond Respiratory and Critical care, providing high-quality and extensive range of health care facilities at home, across India. The new care areas include specialised doctor visits, physiotherapy and rehab services, doctor’s consultation and patient management, drug infusion therapies, minimizing the need for hospitalization for various diseases and 24hrs nursing support. Most of these services are backed by its connected care platform, making remote monitoring possible and driving availability of hospital like care at home. The new customised services supported by cutting-edge healthcare technology, patient monitoring systems helps to assist an even wider set of patients, in both short term (non-chronic) and long term (chronic) care segments.
