30-year-old actor Mihir “Struggler” Shroff, who had got a leading role in upcoming TV serial “Kahin Nahi Hero Tum Sa” after auditioning for 4 long years, was aghast after the Dalaji Productions house decided to drop him from the role. Mihir was in the midst of shooting a scene and everything was going well when he heard a call to stop the shoot and pack up, much to the astonishment of the entire crew. Apparently, the casting director found him sporting a shaving cut, and he yelled “CUT”, sources tell Faking News. Our reporter who spoke to a source close to Mihir said, “That particular day, the shoot was scheduled early in the morning. I remember Mihir attended a late night party the previous evening and he probably was pressed for time to get a decent shave the next morning. While he was getting his shave done in a hurry, he probably got a few cuts. The make-up man could have done some patch work to hide the cuts, but apparently it didn’t work for the director.” “This is show business and how you look on screen is very important. We are talking about making a 50 year old man look like a college student and you expect me to compromise on the looks of my lead actor. That is outrageous!” the director said with a shocked look on his face after the saw a cut on Mihirs face when he saw the recording. The casting director was so unhappy that he instead offered the role to his assistant, who was bloodless clean shaven,” confirmed a co-star of Mihir. Mihir, a serial user of shaving blade, is devastated with the development. He shared his story in a video: Dalaji Productions say that Mihir should have known that those days, when acting skills would take precedent over looks, are long gone. “Due to advanced technology and high mega pixel cameras, even an electron on your face is visible. Therefore make-up is not enough to hide such cuts. How do you expect our audience to react when they see that our hero has cuts on his face?” Fekta Gafoor, the casting director asked. “Apart from that, we have to shoot scenes where we show face of an actor from every angle after he finds a cheating wife and says ‘nahin, nahin, nahin’. How can we shoot from all directions if one part of the face has a shaving cut!” he explained why Mihir was dropped from the role. Mihir finally got help from his assistant who regularly uses an electric shaver to groom himself without having to worry about those occasional cuts that are so common with the regular conventional razor blades. Apparently, majority of actors rely on electric shavers to give them that clean shaven look quickly without having to worry about cuts. Latest reports suggest that Mihir is planning to buy Philips Aquatouch, an electric shaver, with the money he will receive for his changed role in “Kahin Nahi Hero Tum Sa” where he will die after two
