This TV's picture quality is fantastic. The color depth is incredible with its Perfect Pixel HD Engine, particularly on wildlife channels such as Discovery and NGC. No other TV produces such a natural blend of colors! The 'Incredible Surround' sound produced by this TV is better than my Sony HT system. However, it hangs sometimes causing irritation and confusion while watching TV. Remote control needs improvement.

I've seen many LED TV's but Philips has Perfect Pixel HD Engine which makes picture Sharper and clear even if watch it at 1.5 ft distance. Easy 3D best feature which i like about the TV at smart price. Best Television. Go for it ! !

* Awesome TV. Great Design, Great picture clarity, Incredible audio, Pixel HD+240HZ Natural motion picture and colors clarity. * Easy 3D is also great feel in this TV. Only philips is giving 4 3D glasses this is really good. those r coming in the TV BOX And 2D to 3D convertion, Depth adjustment is also good. * DDB is the future technology. In Built Set-up box is the good option. Videocon is giving D2H Platinum HD Package with 2yrs subscription for 990/- this is also great benefit. Actually This package worth 11520/-for 2yrs. TV & D2H is operating with Single remote. It is ease of use.

I took the Philips 42 PFL7977 last week and i would like to tell you that its really a master piece fromm Philips.The Performance of the TV is really good and the Clarity is exceptional which depicts the real colour.Plus an added advantage that Philips along with Videocon they are Providing HD Pack worth 12 K worth straight away just with an activation of 990 rupees where in there are 22 HD channels to enjoy with this master piece. I am relly impressed with the DDB Technology.There are 4 pair of 3D Glass free with the TV with the boosting warranty of 20 Months.. I really recommend ppl to go for this product without Hesitation.Clarity wise i felt this is the best among rest of its competitiors in the market rt now...

I am using this almost a month now. This is the product you want regret for years after buying it. Its DDB bring best picture and sound quality. Play 3d Movies directly from Usb,hard disk. 2 years HD pack free ! so almost 13 k discount strait away. plug and connect for USB dongle for internet connectivity. Many more...............need to see it once to feel differences of quality.

Philips 42 inch LED TV 7977 is a fantastic TV with picture quality comparable to Sony's X-Reality TV, Easy 3D (2D to 3D and native 3D), Internet connection (wired, Wi-Fi & Data card), Philips Net Service Portal, File Sharing, screen sharing of Tablets, Laptop, Camera through HDMI cable. DDB seems to be a great feature though under-sold to media and masses. Along with we got four 3D glasses, as was promised by the dealer. No HDMI cables included. Wall mount is supposed to delivered / installed and Demonstration of TV done by a Philips technician. It has built-in Set-top box that works with Videocon D2H connection. Best part is that D2H people installed Antenna and gave 2 year Platinum HD subscription for just 1k. This subscription has even one 3D channel viz., National Geographic. Picture qualify of HD channel is very good (mp4) and almost all good HD channels are included.

I LIKE THIS T.V....BECAUSE OF BEST QUALITY PICTURE......3D...ETC.

Value for Money... worth buying. DDB is worth exploring...

DBB is a Good concept to avoid the 3rd party servive providers, Excellent specifcation in this gen4 architecture. I would prefer to buy this TV.
