Prepare your towel-dried hair with styling mousse for added body, and create a low side parting.

Blow-dry your hair roughly with your hands or a paddle brush, then clip up the top half so that it’s out of the way.
Step 3
Roll up a section of hair on your styling brush, from the end to the roots. The bristles will hold the hair in place. After a few seconds, turn the tip of the brush to retract the bristles and gently release the hair.
Step 4
To add volume at the crown, take one of the top sections of hair and wrap it around the heated barrel, getting as close to the roots as possible. When releasing each section, support it with your hands until it cools to set the shape.
Step 5
Gently brush your hair through for an even softer look, and finish with hairspray.
