My Philips mixer grinder is not working

Your mixer grinder is equipped with a safety lock mechanism.

This will prevent the appliance from starting if the jars are not properly mounted on the base unit or the chutney jar lid is not fully locked.

Check to see if:

  • The plug has been inserted properly and the socket has been switched on
  • Also make sure the voltage/amperage meets the mixer grinder specifications
  • The jar is locked in place (fig. 1.) and the markings on the jar align with the markings on the base unit (fig. 2.)

  • The lid on the chutney jar is locked in place (fig. 3.)
