Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shaved using a wet Feather called AT756 Purchased AT756 two days ago and started using it, after charging for 8 hours. Box includes charging adapter, head protection cover, cleaning brush, AT756 in a pouch, guarantee and warranty and one year additional guarantee with online product registration. Pros: Used for both wet and dry shave, easy to handle design, cutter to style the mustache and side lock, comfortable wet shave using foam, It is a great product which gives a smooth shave using lift and cut technology. I have not tried dry shaving as I am used to wet shave.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No spare parts Hi I have been using Philips shavers for last 15 years and all I can say is it is an excellent shaver but there is a huge catch - The replacemnt heads are not easily available and even if they are they are more expensive than buying a new shaver. It appears to me that that Philips are not comitted to selling spare parts as opposed to a new shaver

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Revolutionary battery charging technology + in-shower wet shaves I have using Philips Electronics Shavers for 20 years now. This latest Philips AT890-16 Shaver is good but not much different from my previous Philips model (Norelco in USA) in terms of shaving results for dry shaves. I didn’t see any different result for the twin-blades shaving head for dry shaves. But when comparing with my previous PhiliShaver models, the Philips Technology that really impressed me was that the battery is charged in just 1 hour (as opposed to 8-to-10 hours earlier) and for me each charge lasts 20+ days / shaves. I am tempted to say 25+ days / shaves but even on a conservative side, this is very impressive, useful and worth the money paid for the new technology! Unbelievable! And it gave full powered shave without any compromises that in the first 4 shaves it is very powerful and then in rest of the 16 shaves its lower power. In a world where so many things have already been invented and discovered, there is not much that surprises us. But this battery charging revolution was truly a pleasant surprise and satisfying. I had purchased this product around Valentine’s Day 2014 and waited till mid-May before positing this review. I was thinking let me try another charge and then another charge before confirming to the world that this Philips battery and charging technology is truly amazing and a game changer! Suggestion: Philips should share this new battery charging system with inventors all over the world so that new applications could be designed around this superb technology! Note: I have less facial hair and others may be using more shaving time and hence lesser number of shaves per charge. Another technology with these Philips Shavers from last few years are that they have been designed to work in a shower. In the earlier days or even now, all electronics are always kept away from water. Not even one-drop of water otherwise the electronic product goes bust and there may be a risk of an electrical shock. And that’s why I find it amazing that Philips Shavers turned this around on its head and designed the Shaver to work primarily in the shower and with shaving foam. The dry shave is now a secondary feature. I still find this unbelievable. The wet shave is smoothest and gives best results as compared to dry shaves. I am totally satisfied with my new Philips AT890-16 Shaver and feel that its “full value for money” especially for the superb charging and the wet shave features. Great work Philips and a big thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best till now but still need some improvement to be a pro I have bought it from an online store. I checked out its review and found out that its the best machine in the market for grooming and cutting hair. It's waterproof and user can use it roughly or as they want. It will not damage it. Thumbs up. But still looking for improvements.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Philips shaver is a worst product (AT890/16) Philips shaver (AT890/16) provides worst performance like misses hairs, causes irritations on skin, takes longer time per shaving compared with traditional razor shaving.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the product i expected when i ordered I am writing an honest review with the spirit that criticisms are meant for improvement. I was amazed by the design and looks and i ordered it online. I was happy when it came to my home. But when i first used it i was disappointed. It didn't match upto what i expected to a name with high reputation. I primarily preferred this product as a shaver. I dint know what is wrong with it but it doesn't provide a close and clean shave. I prefer my old appliance instead. I hope Phillips comes back. Thanks Sincerely

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Designed, Easy to Use but Performance Unsatisfactory I used this as wet shaver with foam, it didn't perform correctly. It will leave some beard here and there and you will feel disappointed. Shaving with it a lot to clear those remaining beard portions will also result in skin irritation. Moreover it will take more than 20 mins to shave properly after all this hassle. I followed all the guidelines and usage reviews but it's a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I am using this product for last one year and found this to be good. Pros : 1. Works as advertised 2. Value for money 3. Works while wet, with foam and in dry condition also. Cons : 1. Feels slow in operation. If you are in hurry you are better of with razor and saving cream. 2. Motor is not powerfull enough. You will feel it that it should have more powerfull motor. 3. Doesn't work well in areas where you cut or small bumps (like acne marks).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best companion in bathroom It is one of the best shaver I have ever used before this I used to have other product but trust me it shaves it more perfectly than a razor and it won't hurt like other brands. One of the wonderful thing is I can wash it in water which is as easy as a piece of cake job in the early morning rush hours..... Thank you Philips for listening to Men.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst trimmer/shaver i have ever purchased It my pulls my hair if it is any longer than a quarter of an inch, which is pretty horrible. Don't buy this product absolute waste of money. Prefer any other brand over Philips in this category. They have a very poor wet shaver.
