Maharashtra, India – Philips India, the country’s leading provider of lighting solutions, unveiled its first ‘Light Lounge’ in Navi Mumbai today and the second for the state of Maharashtra. A Light Lounge is an experience zone which gives customers a ‘see, touch and feel’ experience of a diverse range of world-class home decorative lighting concepts from Philips like Living Colors, Ecomoods, Kidsplace, Ledino and Aquafit.

The company is aggressively looking to expand its retail presence throughout India and aims to have 450 exclusive touch points - 400 shop-in-shops and 50 Light Lounges - by the end of 2010.

In the last quarter, Philips has more than tripled its range of home decorative lighting solutions to over 500, and has added LED solutions to its portfolio. The product range starts from Rs. 575/- and extends upto Rs. 40,000/-. The new Philips Light Lounge in (Navi Mumbai) Maharashtra is located at Sector 17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
