Need Installation & DEMO Support. The Installation Manual instuction are very limited.
I can review the product if i can get to work with my LCD. Since i have purchased product online from Flipkart, they ask me to connect to Philips directly to register product & for Installation & Demo.
Major issue is the installation manual with only absurd pictures & not a single instruction on how do i connect my DVD Philpils model DVP3868GX/94 WITH MY lg LCD.
Awaiting response from Philips support.

Good hardware with buggy firmware
I bought this DVD player, i took this home and tried some DVDs, some ran properly, but couple of DVDs simply hanged the player. I agree that the file I was running from DVD was invalid format. But I expected the player to tell me that instead of hanging.. The player had to be unplugged to make it operational again... I tried couple of avi files from the pen drive and it took 3-4 minutes to read the avi file... I took the player back to the shop and tried the same DVD and pen drive on other player of same model.. The same problem was there on all players on this model.. I tried the same on another model of philips and the problem was not there.. So I returned the player and bought another philips model. I hope the company solves this firmware bug
