This is my first epilator. It doesn't work as expected. It breaks the hair, instead of pull it from root. (I have read the manual and used it as directed). Doesn't catch soft hair, even after using it multiple time on same area. As Philips is reputed brand thought of going for it. Not worth the price.

I chose Philips epilator as it is a trusted brand in India as compared to any other epilator brands. I bought this model as it had all the latest features for a reasonable price.
Epilator head: I used it for my hands and legs. The 32 catching points with wide epilation head ensure you have smooth skin in a short time with lesser pain than waxing.I was comfortable with both the speed settings but mostly used the higher speed which is also default. Noise is not an issue as it is like any normal trimmer. The opti-light really helps you see your tiny hair as you epilate. For short hair, keeping the epilator closer to the skin helped. I tried epilating sensitive areas but could not bear the pain as the hair is thicker there. I used the trimmer instead. I haven't tried epilating my upper lip yet as the hair is extremely short there.
Trimmer head: It is a fine trimmer and leaves behind smooth looking skin.
Other heads: They aren't of much utility but definitely good to have!
The charge lasted for more than the time taken to epilate myself fully. Overall, a great utility product with best design and I wish I had it got sooner and saved money from my parlor visits.
