Great product except for few cons
Bought this recently, so I can't vouch for longevity and below are my observations:
Advantages\Pros:
1. Titanium\Titanium coated blade which should last longer than normal ones and does not need lubrication.
2. Nice design and compact as well.
3. The picture on the box says the battery is NiMH and is probably a rechargeable battery which we should be able to change ourselves. But that is not going to be required any sooner.
4. It can be used directly on power, so no danger of losing power in the middle of trimming. This was the reason I primarily shelled out the extra bucks.
5. The charger wire is of good length and will help will corded use.
Disadvantages\Cons:
1. Would like to see a better carry case, the carry case provided can only hold the trimmer but not the charger. It is just a normal bag and will not protect your device from any damage.
2. The trimmer attachment for setting the length is too flimsy and certainly a no-no for tough handling.
3. The charging port is different and if your charger goes or you lose yours then you have to buy the same one from Philips which might cost you a bit. Why can't all manufacturers use normal USB cable for charging?
