Rated 5 out of 5 by from superb quality this is another quality product from Philips. i have used several steam irons but this is definitely far ahead of them. i am totally satisfied with the product, it glides over fabric, super smooth, light weighted and its non stick plate is just awesome. i have already recommended 3 other people to buy this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs some changes It has a good design with steam and spray, but it should create more steam and should produce more heat. Some fabrics like paper cotton not ironed properly. I love cotton shirts as ironing is toughest job. So I am not getting results as aspect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD PRODUCT WITH NICE DESIGN & PERFORMANCE. First of all, the model I have is the Pink Colour one (GC1920) but both have same specs. Packaging of product is superb as usual. The build quality is very good and there is no damage in product and its durability. Instruction manual provids all the explanations for the buttons and it was ready to be used. Filling water and emptying was very easy. Once I filled the water and switched ON, it took a good 40-45 secs to completely heat up. I took the most wrinkled cotton shirt for ironing and the creases straitened with only one press. Impressive. Sole plate smoothly glided through the cloth. Steam flow was continuous and there are 2 levels. Can be operated as dry iron also. What good feature I noticed was, the steam was coming when the sole plate is kept parallel to the table surface, but it stops when its kept perpendicular. Cool One feature missing is the steam burst feature. But I guess is available in more expensive models. Overall I think this is a very good product and hope that it will last for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work horse for every household GC 1920 is a well balanced pleasing iron. It's easy to use ergonomic design feels very handy. Water filling is easy, thanks to the generous inlet. The iron reaches the targeted temperature very quickly. The pointed sole plate easily reaches difficult to press areas, making the task more perfect. Pores for the steam are wide and well directed, so moistening of clothes is quick and uniform. This adds to the finish of the crease. Finally it's weight is just right - neither too little, nor too much. The press feels very comfortable in the hand. This is the work horse press for every household.
